This summer, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Watershed Assessment Section will extract data from WIN, Florida STORET, USGS and SBIO to produce the Impaired Waters Rule (IWR) Run 62. This IWR Run is for internal use only to implement new IWR code and to support other division program objectives. It will not be used to develop or update any draft basin assessment lists. We encourage data providers to submit available data to WIN by June 15, 2021. The department shares the IWR Run databases with interested stakeholders.  

External data providers wishing to submit applicable bioassessment data to support Impaired Waters assessments are asked to download and complete the Biology Template. Once completed, please submit the worksheet and supporting documentation to me (Kevin O’Donnell) via email. The supporting documentation should include all field sheets, the program’s Quality Assurance Plan, photos, associated water quality results (for the date of sampling), general sampling routine and other associated materials. ​​​​​
