Conch Crawl Bus to Key West

Cost: $30 per person.

Space is limited to 48 people so register early!

We leave at 5pm from the front of the hotel lobby. Enjoy complimentary adult beverages and Maryann’s Mile Marker Mania while on board.

The bus drops you off in Key West and you are on your own (or wandering with the group) to the bars and restaurants of your choice. We’ll let you know what time to be back on the bus so you don’t have to walk back to Hawks Cay!

We’ll have you back at the hotel around 11pm.

Friday, September 1 Afternoon

Diving/snorkeling trip with Captain Hook’s

Join us for an underwater adventure right after the conference on the afternoon of Friday 9/1/2023. Captain Hook’s is located about 15 minutes by car south of our conference location. We will be departing on the 12:45 pm boat to travel to two different dive spots on the reef near Marathon Key. We will be on or in the water for approximately 4 hours. Please reserve your spot in advance directly with the dive shop for either the SCUBA trip, snorkel trip, or just ride along (web links below). Note that all these activities will take place from the same boat, or in the event of a very large group, from two boats. We are required to arrive by 12:00 pm to ensure there is time for sign in and equipment rental. The symposium presentations will be ending at 11:30 so you’ll want to be ready to leave immediately following the close.

For the diver: air, tanks, weights, and weight belt are included with the dive trip price ($95). All other equipment is available for rent, if needed. (A package with all equipment is available for $36, a BCD/reg only package for $24, or individual items may be rented.)

For the snorkeler, all necessary equipment is provided in the trip price ($49); including mask, fins, snorkel, and inflatable vest. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment.

Riders may come along for $39.
