This 2-hour interactive workshop is intended as a forum for homeowners who live in communities that have stormwater ponds, to exchange ideas on best management practices. There will be several short presentations by citizens who have conducted best management practices in their own communities’ “lakes”. Additionally, a series of short case studies regarding issues with erosion, water quality, littoral plants and harmful algae blooms will be presented. The workshop will also be attended by resource managers, biologists and lake management companies who will be there to help answer questions and provide some expertise in the subjects discussed.
