The mission of the Florida Lake Management Society is to promote protection, enhancement, conservation, restoration, and management of Florida's aquatic resources;  provide a forum for education and information exchange; and advocate environmentally sound and economically feasible lake and aquatic resource management for the citizens of Florida.

The Florida Lake Management Society will host the 2009 20th Annual FLMS Conference and the 2009 SE NALMS Conference at the beautiful Key Largo Grande in Key Largo, Florida from June 8-11, 2009. The 2009 Conference will include a full day of workshops on Monday, June 8, covering a wide variety of lake management topics. Conference sessions begin on Tuesday, June 9 and run through the morning of Thursday, June 11. We have an exciting and informative agenda, with technical sessions held on a wide variety of topics related to water resources and lake management issues. The Conference will offer CEUs for the NALMS CLM/CLP certifications. See the conference page for additional information.
